BESS-Market is an independent platform that connects qualified battery storage projects in Europe with verified technology providers, EPC partners and investors. We do not manufacture batteries or build projects ourselves — our role is to reduce transaction costs and increase transparency.

Basic project submission and browsing the partner directory are free. Premium services — such as verified supplier profiles, structured RFQ management and detailed market reports — are available on a subscription or per-project basis.

The score evaluates your project across 8 weighted dimensions: grid connection (25%), land & permits (15%), technical configuration (15%), economics (15%), financing (10%), marketing strategy (10%), delivery timeline (5%) and insurance/compliance (5%). Each dimension is scored based on the data you provide, and the total determines your project stage from “Idea” to “Ready to Build”.

Your contact details are never shared automatically. Project data is shown anonymized to verified partners until you explicitly agree to share your full profile. Every data sharing action is logged and requires your consent.

Start by creating a basic company listing (free). To increase visibility, you can upgrade to a verified profile. We also offer a structured EU Market Entry Package that includes readiness assessment, partner matching and project introductions.

We offer three transparency levels: “Listed” (self-declared), “Verified Company” (business registration confirmed) and “Documents Reviewed” (technical datasheets and certificates checked for completeness). We are not an accredited certification body — we verify presence and validity, not technical compliance.

No. We provide tools, data and introductions. Investment decisions, technology selection and project execution remain the responsibility of the parties involved. Our BESS Configurator gives indicative ranges, not investment advice.

Our current focus is Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and the UK. We are expanding to the Nordics and Eastern Europe.
